A simple breakdown of my experience

A delightful stay with stunning lake views and a cozy room. The on-site restaurant offers excellent meals, though real maple syrup would be a nice touch. The staff was outstanding, especially when resolving minor issues. Clean and comfortable accommodations made for a relaxing visit, despite a few quirks. I'd definitely return for the scenery and service!

The lake view from our queen room was stunning, especially at sunset. The room was clean and cozy, featuring a balcony with chairs, but it was too chilly to use. The on-site restaurant had excellent meals, with homemade fries and a good breakfast selection. The service was top-notch and genuinely friendly.

The cozy deck overlooking the lake was a true gem, perfect for relaxing with a cup of tea and enjoying the beautiful views. Everything felt inviting and accessible, making it easy for us to move around comfortably.

More handrails in the bathroom would be helpful.

The location on a hill offered stunning views of the lake, especially at sunset. Dining exceeded my expectations with friendly staff delivering excellent meals. The breakfast variety catered to different tastes, from indulgent to healthy options. It felt welcoming to stay at a place that understood our needs with a service dog.

No mini fridge in the room!!! With a little investment, newer TVs could refresh the mood!!! Free coffee/tea policy feels confusing and could use clarification!!!

Great views from the room, but no breakfast was a letdown.

The motel had a cozy, cottage feel that made for a pleasant stay while exploring the beautiful Cape Breton Island. The view from my room was absolutely stunning, and the friendly staff made me feel right at home. I particularly enjoyed the lovely waterfront scene from my window, which was perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.

Staying here was a delight! From enjoying the breathtaking views of the Bras D'Or lake to having a cozy meal at the wonderful on-site restaurant, everything felt like a warm hug. They even catered to our large family with four babies, which was a bonus!

My children wanted a bigger play area for all their toys.

I enjoyed my stay, particularly because of the stunning views of Bras d'Or Lake right from my room. The on-site restaurant was a highlight, with delicious meals for both breakfast and dinner, and the staff were genuinely friendly and accommodating. However, the room was quite dated and lacked a fridge, which would have been a nice addition for keeping drinks cold during my trip.
